Select by Caffeine Level

Its caffeine content is usually light, depending on factors like:
Tea variety: Large leaf varieties have higher caffeine content than small leaf varieties
Elevation: Higher-grown altitude leaves tend to have lower caffeine, as slow growth reduces caffeine buildup.
Harvest time: Spring teas usually have slightly more caffeine than winter ones.
Brewing style: A short gongfu-style infusion will extract less caffeine per cup than long Western-style steeping.

Light

Heavily oxidized and heavily roasted teas such as Red oolong, Tieguanyin usually have lower caffeine.
.
.

Moderate

High Mountain Oolong and Paochong have moderate Caffein. Higher-grown leaves tend to have lower caffeine, as slow growth reduces caffeine buildup.

Heavy

Black tea, Green tea, and Oriental Beauty Tea have heavier Caffeine more than the others.

Select by Tea Shapes

Ball

The ball-like shape is for the tea leaf’s natural oils and juices to seep out, enhancing the final flavor.
.

Stripe

Strip tea is usually not kneaded, so it can retain more original aroma and emit a fresh and natural taste after brewing.

Flakes

Tea powder made from tea leaves retains the aroma of the tea but is perfect for cooking and baking
.

Select by Tea Flavor

Tea aroma is influenced by cultivar, terroir, harvest season, and processing — each factor adding a unique note to the fragrance profile.

The scent of tea arises from the interaction between nature, chemistry, and craftsmanship throughout cultivation and processing.

From leaf variety to roasting technique, every stage of tea making defines its distinctive aroma.
