How to Become a Certified International Certificate Class of Taiwan Specialty Tea

The International Certificate Class of Taiwan Specialty Tea is a program organized by the Taiwan Tea and Beverage Research Station (TBRS) for foreign nationals to gain official certification in understanding, brewing, and identifying Taiwanese teas. 

The course has two sessions. Starting from the lectures (12 hours) on the tea industry, tea tasting, brewing, and then visits to tea fields (8 hours) . Participants must complete the required hours, pass exams, and submit a tea field experience report to receive a certificate.

Visiting a tea field in Taiwan. The tea-making experience must be paired with the tea-picking season.

This course allows students to experience the combination of practical and artistic in kneading tea, and take home your own unique handmade tea.
