No, we don’t operate a physical storefront. Instead, we share information and open our online store only during seasonal tea harvests. If you’re interested in setting up an in-person or virtual tasting or planning session, we’d be happy to connect!

Yes, most are. However, many are not certified organic. Producers of low-quality and commercial tea often seek organic certification to raise prices where consumers pay a premium for the label.

Our teas are mostly harvested in the spring and winter, using traditional organic practices, and avoiding the need for pesticides. Taiwan’s strict environmental laws ensure mid- and high-altitude teas are free from chemical fertilizers. However, we can provide a pesticide-free inspection certificate.

Because we make every order fresh to order, you receive the products with full shelf life. This is a benefit over buying from a re-packager. Our items vary from 12 months (stripe shape) to 24 months (powder or ball shape).

No, we sell only loose leaves tea. We know tea bags are made of nylon or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) , which are not biodegradable and can release harmful micro-plastics when exposed to heat. These micro-plastics can end up in your drink, and studies have shown that they may pose a risk to human health.

Tea naturally absorbs moisture and odors. Once opened, exposure to air can quickly degrade its quality.
To maintain the best flavor:
Long-Term: Use aluminum foil to vacuum seal. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 2 years.
Short-Term: Use sealing rods, binder clips, or airtight containers. Best used within 1 month.
Refrigeration: For up to 6 months of freshness, seal tightly and refrigerate.
Freezing: For longer preservation more than even 6 months, seal and freeze.
When using tea from the fridge or freezer, only take out the amount you need and return the rest immediately. This prevents condensation and odor absorption, preserving the tea’s aroma and flavor.

Cooperation Programs

Our tea talks and workshops are designed for student groups, cultural institutions, educators, and communities that value tea culture, craftsmanship, and sensory learning. We also welcome partnerships with nonprofits and organizations serving underrepresented groups.

We offer a variety of formats—from online tea language talks and live sensory tea evaluations to tea table demonstrations, cultural storytelling sessions, and event collaborations.

Depending on the venue and audience, we can demonstrate tea brewing techniques, introduce teaware design, or guide participants through tea tasting using professional evaluation methods.

Absolutely. We host virtual tastings, talks, and planning sessions with groups around the world.

Programs are billed per session (three hours each), even if the event is shorter. Rates vary depending on the nature of the event. Material and travel expenses are charged separately.

To support cultural visibility, we also ask that collaborating organizations help announce the event through their website or social media platforms.

Yes, we do! We offer curated experiences such as guided tours of distinctive teahouses, visits to tea-producing regions, and customized tea shop explorations. These tours can be tailored based on your interests and location.

Please use your tracking number to check directly with the shipping company or through a third-party parcel tracking service.
Shipping company: Chunghwa Post [please follow the ‘international parcels tracking service’ link]
Third-party service: 17TRACK or AfterShip [these providers are able to track shipments from Taiwan]

Please note that when using the Airmail shipping option, for some destination countries tracking will only be possible up until your order departs Taiwan. The main reason for this is Taiwan’s complex political status. This is notably the case for orders being sent to the United States as unfortunately the tracking number systems used by Chunghwa Post (Taiwan Post) and USPS are not compatible.

In most cases, the shipping company will take care of all the import formalities, including prepayment of any potential VAT and import duties. Should there be any amount due, they will notify you directly. Once the shipping company has received payment from you, they will then proceed to deliver the goods to your address or make them available for collection at your local service point.

The VAT, import duties, and handling fees will be different per country. For VAT and import duties, please check with your local tax authority. For handling fees, please check with the shipping company.

Please note that shipping duration does NOT include processing time, which is currently averaging 1-3 days. 

In special event of unseasonably weather, we reserve the right to delay shipping by a few days until conditions are more favorable.

Please be sure to keep an eye on tracking information the day the tea and ceramics product are scheduled to arrive. If this is a gift, please advise the recipient that tea are en route.

We understand that everyone has unique preferences when it comes to tea. That’s why we host monthly tea tasting events, where you can explore different teas before making a purchase. Direction to the Workshop

Please note that this is our production space, not a retail store. We can accommodate tasting, meeting or pickups by appointment M-F 10 AM-6 PM and weekends upon request. If it is an urgent (same day) request, please call or text 510-688-7341 to confirm availability.

We have limited staff, and greatly appreciate you sticking to the pickup time you selected at checkout, in order to minimize disruption to our production schedule. If you need to make changes to pickup time please call.
